3:AM Top 5: Lee Rourke

Lee Rourke resides in London and is the author of Everyday, a collection of short stories [or “fragments” as Lee prefers to call them] described by Dazed & Confused as “an essential read for misanthropes, alcoholics and slubberdegullians.” He is Reviews Editor for 3:AM Magazine and edits his own literary litzine, the “religiously anti-mainstream” Scarecrow. Lee contributes to 3:AM London, New York, Paris, edited by Andrew Stevens, and here’s Lee’s ‘Music to Feed the Pigeons To’:

1. ‘Symphony No. 7 Allegretto,’ – Beethoven
2. ‘Gotterdammerung Siegfried’s Funeral Music,’ – Wagner
3. ‘Symphony No. 3 The Symphony of Sorrowful Songs,’ – Henryk Gorecki
4. ‘Symphony No. 8 in C minor. Op 65. a) Adagio b) Allegretto c) Allegro non troppo d) Largo e) Allegretto,’ – Dimitri Shostakovich
5. ‘Clavierübung (The ‘Goldberg’ Variations),’ – Bach
