Peter Wild launches The Flash this Friday at Tales of the Decongested (details here). Boasting 100 flash fiction pieces from 100 writers, and edited by Peter for Social Disease, the proceeds are going to go to Amnesty International. An excellent collection all round, it includes contributions from Aimee Bender, Michel Faber, Jonathan Lethem, Arthur Nersesian, Sam Lipsyte, Matt Thorne and Stewart Lee, as well as recent 3:AM interviewee Ben Richards. To celebrate, Peter tells us he is currently listening to:
1. “Sinister in a State of Hope” - Loney, Dear
2. “Prenzlauerberg” - Beirut
3. “The Past is a Grotesque Animal” - Of Montreal
4. “When the Water Gets Cold and Freezes in the Lake” - Herman Dune
5. “Please Be Patient With Me” - Wilco
