Book Works inaugurates a series of six, monthly events focusing on artists’ writings, readings, discussion and debate. Themes include: artists’ publications, nomadism, cosmopolitanism, the avant-garde, transgression, power.

Temporary Artists’ Spaces: Art writing and magazines

with Maria Fusco, Kit Hammonds and Clunie Reid, chaired by Jeremy Akerman. Magazines by Artwords. Followed by the launch of The Happy Hypocrite: Hunting and Gathering, issue 2.

Laboratory of Synthesis: Art writing and criticism

with Robert Garnett, Dan Fox, Andrew Hunt and Nina Power. Followed by the launch of Gest: Laboratory of Synthesis #1.
