That’s the message you can still read on Malcolm McLaren‘s website. It has been up there for several years now — ever since he ran for Mayor of London — and I hope it remains there for a long time. McLaren was a truly iconic figure for people of my generation, especially for those of us who fought the punk wars, and I always thought I would interview him some day. That day almost came recently, but the interview was called off due to his ill health. I never thought I’d been swindled out of the opportunity for good.
