SIX POEMS

by

Tracy Scarpino

***
Your tongue on my flesh
Lifts me heavenward
And I press myself closer
To your godly mouth,
To your saintly lips.

***

We took off our clothes
And spread out our towels
So we could lie down,
Our bodies pale and eager,
Naked under the hot sun.

***

Your hand on my breasts
Hard on under the hot sun
Salty erection -
My lips manage: I feel you
Semen mingles with the sand.

***

You said you didn't
But I know you did -
Kissed her softly,
Pressed your crooked mouth to hers,
Then entered her, and killed me.

***

What happens to me
When they find out about us
And you go away
Leaving me to be trampled
Beneath cruel high horses?

***

I sat by your grave
And waited for your ghost
But you never came -
I returned home without you,
To watch the day end again.
