Co-editor-in-chief and founder \u00a0Andrew Gallix<\/strong> \u00a0recently published two pieces on Roland Barthes in the Guardian<\/a> \u00a0<\/i>and the \u00a0Los Angeles Review of Books<\/em><\/a>, to commemorate the centenary of his birth. The latter focuses on the recent exhibition at the Biblioth\u00c3\u00a8que nationale de France. An in-depth interview Gallix conducted with the Argentine novelist Luis Chitarroni will appear in the forthcoming fourth issue of \u00a0gorse<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Co-editor-in-chief David Winters<\/strong> \u00a0spent the summer conducting research at the archive of Gordon Lish, who has appointed him as his authorized biographer. Winters’s forthcoming essays and reviews will cover books by Jeremy Davies, Noy Holland, Rita Felski, and others. He was recently \u00a0interviewed<\/a> \u00a0by co-editor Andrew Gallix for \u00a0BOMB Magazine.<\/i><\/p>\n Editorial Director K. Thomas Kahn<\/strong> published several hybrid pieces synthesizing criticism, poetry, and memoir, including a piece \u00a0on snoring, sleep (and the lack thereof), and the consolations of reading at the end of a relationship in The Rumpus<\/em><\/a>, and a piece \u00a0on digital culture, intimacy, and unplugging in Berfrois<\/em><\/a>. Recently, he wrote on British novelist Elizabeth Taylor’s work for Full Stop<\/em><\/a>, and on Tomas Transtr\u00c3\u00b6mer’s poetics for The Quarterly Conversation<\/a>;<\/em> \u00a0some of his poems and prose poems also appeared in Num \u00e9ro Cinq<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n Fiction Editor Joanna Walsh<\/strong> \u00a0is \u00a0currently in Mexico<\/a> \u00a0as part of the British Council Literature’s \u00a0#UKMX15<\/a>. He has also \u00a0produced \u00a0and published \u00a0the most recent edition of the acclaimed \u00a0Inky Needles<\/a>‘<\/em> \u00a0literary journal, entitled \u00a0Celebrity and Speed<\/a>,<\/em> \u00a0and has \u00a0been working as a co-editor on \u00a0Penny Ante<\/a><\/em>‘s forthcoming \u00a0Modern \u00a0Behaviours \u00a0Anthology.<\/em><\/p>\n And finally, incoming Contributing Editor Dustin Illingworth<\/strong>\u2014whom 3:AM<\/em> is honored to welcome on board!\u2014recently helped launch \u00a0The Scofield<\/a><\/i>, a literary magazine focused on the work of underappreciated authors. \u00a0Issue One<\/a> \u00a0is on David Markson, while Issue Two (publishing in October) will showcase Kay Boyle.
