ABOUT THE AUTHOR<\/strong>
\nDavid Spittle<\/a> is a poet and filmmaker. His first pamphlet, B O X, (HVTN Press) was published in 2018 and his first full poetry collection, All Particles and Waves, is out now with Black Herald Press. A short film, Light Noise, is featured on BBCiPlayer, as part of New Creatives. In addition to film and poetry, he has written the libretti to three operas, and in 2014 was commissioned to write a song cycle for Bergen National Opera, since performed internationally. After completing a PhD on John Ashbery and Surrealism in 2016, he has continued independent research across Surrealism, Phenomenology, Film and Poetry. They are portraits of someone moving out of one as a restless into of no one. <\/p>\n

They are, just about. Not without meaning but meaning not to be read. Entirely serious and ridiculous. <\/p>\n
