I owl people observer of gold
orbits 270° in any direction
proclaims my silence –
fixed in sockets of density
unconscious play from side to side
to c l e a r m y v i s i o n s u r f a c e s

dangerously as truth I am her.e
to be assertive & hearing h a r m

o n i o u s l y the front edges
& the downy feathers of language

& listening
with my inner self study

& happening
behind the scenes cultivates a tolerance

for roses & old photographers given
configure an atmosphere in repetition I

am her.e daughter of Icarius
hung in grief I am her
Erigone transported

to everlasting glory the heavens

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Alison Gibb is a British poet. She holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Goldsmiths College, an MA in Writing Poetry and a MFA in Creative Writing from Kingston University. Her practice crosses the disciplines of poetry, art, installation, performance sound-art and performance writing. Essentially experimental, Alison’s work investigates language through explorations into creative processes, artistic methods of making and critical theories. Alison is an Emerging Writer in Residence at Kingston University and a practice-led PhD researcher at the Department of English, Royal Holloway, University of London.
