nick-e melville is a poet who makes visual stuff, found stuff and subjective conceptual stuff. He has had six publications: Office Gnomics (Acton Press, 2006) tippexed office ergonomics; selections and dissections (Otoliths, 2010) a large collection of visual poetry, This is Visual Poetry (Chapbook Publications, 2010) its small colour companion; STUFF (Whirlpool Press, 2011) a collection of found poetry; Editorial (verysmallkitchen, 2012) the collated responses of an installation poem; and junk mail (if p then q, 2012) two pieces of tippexed junk mail erasures. His work has also been featured in several exhibitions: VISPO! Blends and bridges: an international survey of visual poetry, Cleveland, Ohio, April 2006; Poetry Beyond Text: Scottish Poetry Library, Edinburgh, May 2011; Editorial: Total Kunst Gallery, Edinburgh, August 2011; thetextisthetext: Patriothall Gallery, Edinburgh, October 2011 and Poetry Beyond Text: Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh, November 2011. He teaches creative writing and was Writer in Residence at HMP Edinburgh, 2010-2011.
