ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Holly Pester is an experimental sound poet undergoing practice-led research at Birkbeck, University of London in ‘Speech and the Archive in Intermedia Poetry’. She is currently investigating the sound aesthetic of the ‘radio-voice’ and the poetic sensibilities of analogue sound.
Holly Pester regularly performs her poetry at art and literary events in the UK including 2009’s Serpentine Gallery Poetry Marathon, 2010 Ledbury Poetry Festival 2010 and the upcoming Text Festival 2011 in Bury. Examples of work and processes can be found at www.hollypester.com.
