George DuBose, b 1951, Morocco. Lives and works in Cologne.

Photographer and graphic designer. George DuBose has photographed and designed more than 300 album and single covers for artists such as The Ramones, Kid Creole and The Coconuts, XCLAN, RunDMC and Melissa Etheridge. More than 50 projects he was involved in have won the Golden Record or the Platinum Record. Her first photograph for the music industry was used for a B52’s poster in 1978 and two years after was acquired to be the first album cover of the band. DuBose has being recognized as one of the most important album designers in last 40 years by The New York Times in 2011. English magazine Bonafide has defined DuBose as “The Godfather of Hip Hop Photography”.
