Sheelagh Bevan aka Mrs Hell — who is a librarian at MOMA — is curating an exhibition entitled How to Make a Modern Art Library: Selections from the Eluard-Dausse Collection (Dausse was the Surrealists’ friend and doctor in the 20s and 30s). This exhibition, which runs until 22 June, shows how the acquisition of these two collections shaped “the style, values, and methods” (R. Hell) of MOMA’s library.
