Calls for submission for Semina, a new series edited by Stewart Home and published by Book Works will be announced in April 2007. Aiming to publish nine books over three years from a combination of open submission and commission, Semina is looking for experimental work, from young and unknown artists and writers willing to take risks with prose and with total disregard for conventional structures. Think Cobra, Fluxus, Beats, Oulipo, the Letterists, Black Mountain, drugs, magic, the art world, life, death, and transcendence, as well as the more recognisably post-modern experimentation associated with figures like Kathy Acker, Dennis Cooper and Lynne Tillman. One of the books in this new series will be Blood Rites of the Bourgeoisie, a new work by Stewart Home scheduled for publication in 2010.
