    WHERE'S CAPTAIN PEEL?
Spizzenergi, who recorded four Peel sessions back in the early 80s, will celebrate John Peel Day on 13 October with a gig at the Metro Club (19-23 Oxford Street, London W1 7.30-11pm):

"The band will be performing six songs from the Sessions broadcast by the great John Peel who once said of 'Where's Captain Kirk?' on a Star Trek TV special: 'Spizzenergi went on to record the only Star Trek tribute worthy of the Enterprise's jukebox'".

In related news, Cherry Red will release the first Spizz DVD on 28 November. You can also read 3:AM's recent interview with Spizz by George Berger.
